Ja On 2 “Love and Goodness”
In our style, fourth degree black belt repeats Ja On, but we extend the form by twelve additional moves and the locations of the, UTZ! No change in the original moves learned as a third dan, however the student is expected to execute each move at a much higher level of efficiency. We will discuss fourth dan Ja On in its entirety here. Note there may be different comments to the moves we discussed at third dan. Hopefully by now the reader has noticed my comments may be different when detailing the same move in different forms. This is intentional because there are multiple uses for a single basic depending on the situation. I’ve captured many, but there are more; Karate does not end, it is a life journey of exploration, learning and self actualization.
The additional moves in Ja On 4th Dan is the perfect compliment to an already perfect form. The added moves continue with even more lightening fast, devastating hand combination techniques, then finishes with a crushing, relentless kicking series.
